THIS TRIP IS NOW CANCELLED DUE TO HEALTH AND WEATHER

Robert Lodge, owned by the Mt. Robert Foundation, (https://www.mtrobert.org.nz/) is a magical spot in Mt Roberts 2nd Basin in the beautiful Nelson Lakes National Park. The lodge can sleep 30 people, has mattresses, water, gas stove, cuttlery & crockery, solar lighting, wood burner... and more.

We will walk up to the lodge via the Pinch gut track on Friday afternoon/ evening depending on the groups avaliability.  It is about a 1.5 to 2.5 hour walk. Come prepared with your torch if we leave late. There may or may not be snow on the ridge by then. I will confirm arrangements nearer the time. 

On Saturday we will do a day walk to Angelus hut and back to the Lodge for dinner. There may be an alternative option to walk up Christie's ridge instead, if the Angelus walk is too far or too snowy.

After a relaxing Sunday morning, we will make our way back off the ridge, possibly via Paddy's track.

We will make a pot luck stew on Saturday night, so bring meat and veggies if you want to join in the meal. (let me know if you are taking part in the social meal). Mulled wine is also a welcome additive to the meal.

Hut fees: Non-members $25/night (school aged $10/night) x 2 nights. 

Registration

It is IMPORTANT that "You contact the Trip Leader before registering" for a trip. Especially if you are new to the club or a non-club member (Visitor). The Leader will need to be confident that you have the experience, fitness and the correct gear to complete the trip successfully. :-)
CLUB MEMBERS must LOGIN HERE to register so that your details auto-populate the registration fields. You can edit these auto-populated fields but they aren't saved for later use. To permanently change them, edit them HERE." PLease register couples separately if both are attending.
VISITORS can register using their email address which will be used to send you trip registration confirmation details and the ability to cancel the trip registration. Please register each person attending separately.
